As one of the achievements was the signing of the agreement between the Nicaraguan Institute of Culture and sexual diversity in a single block Nicaraguan struggle. It is worthwhile to recognize the efforts that have been occurring throughout the history of sexual diversity in our country.

Sexual Diversity Nicaragua launches day against Homo-lesbo-bi-trans phobia with the slogan "UNIT WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION AND PRIDE 2010"



Different organizations of sexual diversity in Nicaragua to commemorate the international day of struggle against homo-lesbo-bi-trans phobia and the International Day of Pride will make a journey with a series of activities to be carried out during the months of May and June of this year.

the activities carried out are videos forums, walks and marches, sexual diversity fair, film festivals, presentations of reports, presentations studies in Nicaragua with the population of Sexual Diversity, seedlings, campaigns.

As one of the main activities in the day will be the realization of the signing of an agreement to work with the Nicaraguan Institute of Culture (INC) and the various organizations of the sexual diversity of Nicaragua. this event will be held on May 17 at the Salon de los Cristales our Ruben Dario National Theater. This day

the Strategic Group for the Defence of Human Rights of Sexual Diversity (GEDDS) attended the first international seminar on sexual diversity held in the city of Caracas Venezuela, days 5,6 and 7 May of this year in order make visible to the population of Nicaragua sexual diversity. The event was held under the International Day against Homo - Lesbian - Bi - after - phobia

The exchange of experiences has been extremely productive, as a social movement in Nicaragua we have achieved a working alliance with the National Center Cuba Sexual Education (CENESEX) and the Ombudsman of Venezuela.






As one of the specific topics at the seminar was the subject of discrimination by sexual obcion experienced by colleagues from sexual diversity in Venezuela by the society in general. However

is a breakthrough for sexual diversity in Venezuela that the workshop has been achieved through the efforts of the Ombudsman, which in turn has a working alliance with the Cuban people in order to eradicate discrimination on orientation or sexual obcion.
