the Strategic Group for the Defence of Human Rights of Sexual Diversity (GEDDS) attended the first international seminar on sexual diversity held in the city of Caracas Venezuela, days 5,6 and 7 May of this year in order make visible to the population of Nicaragua sexual diversity. The event was held under the International Day against Homo - Lesbian - Bi - after - phobia The exchange of experiences has been extremely productive, as a social movement in Nicaragua we have achieved a working alliance with the National Center Cuba Sexual Education (CENESEX) and the Ombudsman of Venezuela.
As one of the specific topics at the seminar was the subject of discrimination by sexual obcion experienced by colleagues from sexual diversity in Venezuela by the society in general. However
is a breakthrough for sexual diversity in Venezuela that the workshop has been achieved through the efforts of the Ombudsman, which in turn has a working alliance with the Cuban people in order to eradicate discrimination on orientation or sexual obcion.
